Opportunity #1 is from the Baptist Church in Moyogalpa on the island of Ometepe, Nicaragua. Last year we worked with them in Altagracia doing church planting. After the team from here left, the church continued to work with those who had accepted Christ as their Savior. They have now organized themselves into a church and are meeting in a home around the corner from the square. The owner is willing to sell the house and property to the church. The church has requested any type of financial help we can give them. The maximum they are asking is $8,000. It would be an exciting thing for the team returning to Nicaragua to present a check to assist them.

Opportunity #2 is in Mexico. One of the families from Iglesia Buatista Nueva Vida has returned to Mexico to a community that does not have a Baptist church. So being the good layman and servant of the Lord, they have begun a ministry. The need is for one or more of our churches to partner with them in a church planting format that would assist them prayerfully and financially.
